Sick so so sick

      I've been sick for about three weeks now.(the doctor thinks its mono)Not the usual for me. Moms can't get sick.Isn't there a rule somewhere that says that.I've got far to many things to do and far to many places to be. It was particularity bad one night. I was up at 3am with an ear ache so incredibly horrid that I couldn't sleep,sit, lay down or anything else. I tried a warm blow dryer, I tried Motrin, I even tried some numbing ear drops that the doctor had given us for Madi. Still two hours and one call to the consulting nurse later, no relief. Its not often that I ask for a blessing(to learn what that is in our church click here)from David. Matter of fact in the almost 9 years of our marriage, I can count on one hand the number of blessing I have had. I woke him up and told him what I needed. He agreed, minutes(probably 10-15) later I was able to relax enough against David and fall asleep for a few hours. It wasn't until days later that I asked David how long he sat holding me up so I could rest. "About 2 hours was his reply. Your kidding right? No, I am pretty sure it was that long." 2 hours of him sitting up against a not so comfy couch to help me heal. He then lovingly took our three kids up to his parents house for the day so I could have a whole day on uninterrupted rest and sleep. The day after he took all three kids to church on his own. Not an easy task even when we are both there. And again on Monday he stayed home from work to do the school run/drop off/pick up. I don't get mushy very often, but what an amazing guy I am married too. I really don't give him enough credit for how well he takes care of our family. Now almost 4 weeks later, I just have an annoying cough and some hearing loss(due to a plugged ear). There's no picture to go with this post. Believe me you wouldn't have wanted to see what I have looked like the last few weeks. Its been scary!
