Parkers Baptism

In our church children are baptized at 8ys old. Parker was very excited for his 8th birthday to come.He had his interview with the bishop the Sunday before his baptism. He went in alone, no parents. He won't tell us much of what they talked about other then prayer and scripture study.  He received his very own scriptures and a real CTR ring for his baptism. He also was able to pick put everything that had to do with his baptism program. He chose Aunt Susan for the baptism talk and Trisha for the Holy ghost talk. Uncle Fred and Uncle Tim for prayers and the Grandpas for the witness's. He chose the opening and closing song. Sage played the piano and Genne led the music.  We were amazed at the number of people that showed up to support Parker in making this wonderful decision in his life. The relief society room was full, so we moved to the chapel. It was fairly full as well. Thanks to all those that came!
